America's favorite animated adult comedy, Family Guy, is the brainchild of comedy genius Seth MacFarlane. It is backed by the FOX Broadcasting Company and centers around a caricature "typical American family" living in Quahog, Rhode Island. The Griffins are a six member family of dysfunctional characters; Peter and Lois, the parents; their kids Stewie, Chris, and Meg; and their alcoholic, cigar smoking, foul mouthed pet doggy named Brian. In addition to the family, there is also an large cast of very charming supporting characters, some of which have even led to spin-off television series of their own.
