TNT has announced that it has no plans to broadcast new episodes of Law and Order.
Earlier this month, the show was cancelled by NBC after 20 seasons.
TNT was later named as a possible home for the series after speculation that the programme would be rescued by a cable network.
However, the Los Angeles Times reports that Turner Broadcasting, who own TNT, have now dismissed the rumours.
