The scene opens with Cathy waking up and there are pictures of butterflies and rainbows on the ceiling. Paul is cleaning the floors and tells that there are a lot of bacteria on the floors and that he is there to help her and be her helper. She tells that she doesn’t want to be viewed as helpless. At the school, Cathy passes out paper and tells that they are going to practice on how to write a thank you note. She tells them that a note is better texting and sending an email with just a smiley face on it. She tells them she wants to know that they have learned something. Meanwhile, Adam is fixing Marlene’s cook coo clock and Marlene tells that the clock hasn't worked for years.
